Elizabeth J. Etherington, 76, Cape Girardeau Route 1, died Thursday, June 27, 1991, at the home of her son. She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of Charles C. and Alice Cramp Freed Jones. Etherington was a retired secretary. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick H. and Priscilla Etherington Jr., Cape Girardeau Route 1; a sister, Harriett Parker of Farmington, Conn., and three granddaughters, Helen, Rebecca and Christina Etherington of Cape Girardeau...

Elizabeth J. Etherington, 76, Cape Girardeau Route 1, died Thursday, June 27, 1991, at the home of her son.

She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of Charles C. and Alice Cramp Freed Jones.

Etherington was a retired secretary.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Frederick H. and Priscilla Etherington Jr., Cape Girardeau Route 1; a sister, Harriett Parker of Farmington, Conn., and three granddaughters, Helen, Rebecca and Christina Etherington of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel was in charge of local arrangements. There is no visitation or service here.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. July 6 at Valley Forge Presbyterian Church in King of Prussia, Pa. Burial will be in Laurel Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia.
