SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Elizabeth Hennings of St. Clair, Pa., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sikeston City Cemetery, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating.
Nunnelee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Hennings, 85, died Friday, May 19, 1995, at her home.
She was born July 15, 1909, in Sikeston, daughter of Lynn Mark and Frances Elizabeth Lawrence Stallcup. She and Sen. Thomas C. Hennings Jr. were married in November 1950. He died in September 1960.
Hennings was a graduate of Sikeston High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was a member of First Christian Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Gallagher of Easton, Md., Karla Phillips of Pittsburgh, Pa., and four grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
