FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. -- Elizabeth Fornkahl, 88, of Franklin Park, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at Presence Villa Scalabrini Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northlake, Illinois.
She was born March 18, 1930, to Rudolph and Agnes Moonier Kiefer. Elizabeth and Victor Fornkahl were married 11 years. He preceded her in death.
She was a quality control inspector for Motorola.
Survivors include sons, James Fornkahl of Addison, Illinois, and John Fornkahl of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; a daughter, Vickie Fornkahl of Franklin Park; and brother, Ivan Kiefer of Stratford, Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Joseph; and sisters, Marie, Gertrude and Alice.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at St. Mary's Cemetery, with the Rev. Alexander Nwagwu officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
