SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Amelia Bryant, 73, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Benton, daughter of Walter Louis and Swettie Isabelle Bryant. Bryant was a member of St. John Baptist Church, and had served on the ushers board...

SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Amelia Bryant, 73, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Benton, daughter of Walter Louis and Swettie Isabelle Bryant.

Bryant was a member of St. John Baptist Church, and had served on the ushers board.

Survivors include two daughters, Frances Bryant and Erma Green of Sikeston; a son, James Bryant of Kansas City; a sister, Christine Caruthers of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ. Bishop Charlie Green will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Friday from noon until service time.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
