MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Elizabeth Beth Ates, 57, of Muskegon died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. She was born March 16, 1939, in Michigan. She and Lewis "L.B." Ates were married Oct. 11, 1977, at Millersville. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sharon LaCrosse of Muskegon; two stepchildren, Carol Johnson and Tom Ates, both of Muskegon; and six grandchildren...

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Elizabeth Beth Ates, 57, of Muskegon died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon.

She was born March 16, 1939, in Michigan. She and Lewis "L.B." Ates were married Oct. 11, 1977, at Millersville.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sharon LaCrosse of Muskegon; two stepchildren, Carol Johnson and Tom Ates, both of Muskegon; and six grandchildren.

Committal services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Old Salem Cemetery near Millersville. The Rev. J. Michael Davis will officiate.
