COBDEN, Ill. -- Eliza Margaret "Duck" Sitter, 94, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Cobden, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville. She was born March 1, 1905, at Cobden, daughter of Frank Ross and Minnie Rendleman Condon.
She married Truman A. Sitter Dec. 27, 1923, at Jackson, Mo. He died Feb. 6, 1980.
She was a member of the Congregational Church of Cobden; a member of the Cobden Women's Club; and a member of the Cobden Rebekah's for more than 50 years.
She is survived by a son, Leon Sitter of Clarksville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cobden Cemetery, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will follow.
Friends may call at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 11 a.m. Saturday.
