ALTENBURG -- Elda J. Hunt, 74, of Altenburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Perry County, daughter of Rudolph and Christine Mueller Weber.
On Jan. 25, 1942, she married George A. Hunt, who preceded her in death Dec. 3, 1967.
She was a cook at Altenburg Public Schools 17 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Norman Hunt of Altenburg; three daughters, Ruth Rauh of Jackson, Paula Reisenbichler of New Wells, Gladys Laug of Stevens Point, Wis.; two brothers, Edwin Weber of Frohna, Wilmer Weber of Altenburg; a sister, Leona Kaempfe of Altenburg; a stepsister, Viola Boehme of Wittenberg; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg, and until 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Lohnes will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
