Elbert Ray Williamson, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 21, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leo and Dora Ann O'Howell Williamson. He and Evelyn Martin were married July 3, 1971, in St. Charles, Mo.
Williamson worked at Ford Motor Co. 31 years, retiring in September 1979. He then moved back to Cape Girardeau and was a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Barbara Hoelscher of Naples, Fla., Patricia Caldwell of St. Louis; two sons, Robert Williamson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Elbert Williamson of St. Louis; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hobbs Chapel Church, with the Rev. Jim Hogue officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
