Kathryn Elaine Jordan, 72, daughter of the late Will Roy Jordan and Juanita Kathryn Jordan was born on March 22, 1949, in Lamesa, Texas, and departed her life on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was a 1967 graduate of Lamesa High School and went on to attend Jacksonville Baptist College where she was active in the choir and playing the piano for the choir as well. ...

Kathryn Elaine Jordan, 72, daughter of the late Will Roy Jordan and Juanita Kathryn Jordan was born on March 22, 1949, in Lamesa, Texas, and departed her life on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was a 1967 graduate of Lamesa High School and went on to attend Jacksonville Baptist College where she was active in the choir and playing the piano for the choir as well. Elaine received her nursing degree from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas, and was previously employed at various hospitals in east Texas and Oklahoma. She was a caregiver, loved her family and friends, but most of all she loved her Lord Jesus Christ and served as a mighty prayer warrior. Elaine attended Joy Church of Jacksonand was a resident of Millersville.

Survivors include one sister, Janae (Ron) Eskew of Benton, Missouri; two brothers, Brent (Jolene) Jordan of Graham, Texas and Kent (Brenda) Jordan of Ringwood, Oklahoma; by many nieces and nephew; also, by special friend Diane McAllister.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death on the same day of her passing by niece, Jacie Jordan; by great-nephew, Cohen Eskew and Gatlin Eskew.

A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
