JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elaine Hunter, 56, of Jonesboro died Monday, June 4, 2001, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1944, at Millcreek, Ill., daughter of Carl W. and Susie Marie Poole Hileman. She and Karol L. Hunter were married April 7, 1962, in Anna, Ill.
Hunter was a cook at Anna School District 37 for 24 years. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Pamela Reach of Jonesboro; a son, Michael Hunter of Anna; seven brothers, Carl Hileman of Tamms, Ill., Charlie Hileman of Evansville, Ind., Ron and Terry Hileman of Anna, Joe Hileman of Bloomington, Ill., Jesse Hileman of South Elgin, Ill., Phil Hileman of Jonesboro; three sisters, Nadine Jordan and Sharon Osman of Anna, Joyce Mowery of Dongola, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Eidson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
