DONGOLA, Ill. -- Eileen Earnhart, 88, of Dongola died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.
She was born Aug. 6, 1916, at Dongola, daughter of Tell and Cora Goodman Groner. She and Van Earnhart were married Aug. 15, 1936. He died May 28, 1982.
Earnhart was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church and WMU, and was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Treece of Anna, Christine Helm of Dongola; a son, Kenton Earnhart of Dongola; a brother, Howard Groner of Dongola; a sister, Flora Hartline of Maggie Valley, N.C.; a granddaughter; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with David Gilley and the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery at Dongola.
