Eileen Deering, 77, of De Soto, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 1994, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.
She was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Parkersburg, Ill., daughter of George Henry and Clara Loretta Marks Dawson. She married Earl Emmett Deering, who preceded her in death.
Deering was a retired elementary teacher with De Soto Public Schools, and member of First Baptist Church in De Soto.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Richards of De Soto; three brothers, George Dawson of Washington, Mo., Daniel Dawson of De Soto, Hal Dawson of Cadet; three sisters, Thelma Loveless of Tucson, Ariz., Opal Nenninger of Cape Girardeau, and Nelda Politte of De Soto.
Friends may call at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto from 4-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in De Soto. The Rev. Nathan Cothen will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery at De Soto.
