Eileen Szafranski Cottrell, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 2, 1947, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Steve and Eileen Szafranski. She and Robert Cottrell were married in 1972 in Erie, Pa. He preceded her in death...

Eileen Szafranski Cottrell, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 2, 1947, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Steve and Eileen Szafranski. She and Robert Cottrell were married in 1972 in Erie, Pa. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Michael Cottrell; and a daughter, Bonnie Cottrell.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
