EILEEN BISHOP

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Eileen H. Bishop, 76, of Perryville died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 14, 1923, in Perry County in Missouri, daughter of Andrew and Hester Edmond Hendrix. She and John E. Bishop were married Jan. 15, 1944. He died Jan. 13, 1997.

Bishop was administrator of John Bishop Poultry Co., and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Bishop of St. Charles, Ill., Lindell Bishop of St. James, Mo.; her mother of Silver Lake, Mo.; three brothers, Glennon Hendrix of Maine, Raymond Hendrix of Port Perry, Mo., Ravin Don Hendrix of Perryville; four sisters, Janice Worley of Wappapello, Mo., Judy Pitman of Perryville, Faye Norman of Maryland, Reta Phillips of Lebanon, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Bollinger County in Missouri.
