BLOOMFIELD -- Effie Reynolds, 89, of Bloomfield died Friday, June 26, 1992, at the Dexter Nursing Center in Dexter.

She was born May 16, 1903, near Advance, the daughter of John and Ada Kruse Watkins. On Nov. 20, 1954, she married George Reynolds, who preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1971.

She was a Bloomfield resident for the past 20 years, where she attended the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Edna Swindell of Bloomfield and Virgie Cox of Granite City, Ill.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dallas Reagan will officiate, and burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
