ANNA, Ill. -- Edwin Leon Brimm, 67, of Anna, died Thursday, May 26, 1994, at Union County Hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Anna, son of Ira Richard and Clara White Brimm. Brimm was an operating engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Anna VFW Post 3455, Anna Masonic Lodge 520 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Southern Illinois, Ainad Shrine, and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 318 in Harrisburg...

ANNA, Ill. -- Edwin Leon Brimm, 67, of Anna, died Thursday, May 26, 1994, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Anna, son of Ira Richard and Clara White Brimm.

Brimm was an operating engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Anna VFW Post 3455, Anna Masonic Lodge 520 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Southern Illinois, Ainad Shrine, and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 318 in Harrisburg.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Barbara Cox of Anna; two brothers, Bob Brimm of Anna, and Buddy Brimm of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. Friday. Masonic rites will be conducted by Anna Lodge at 7:30.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military rites by Anna VFW.
