Edwin James Glover Sr., 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at his home.

He was born Feb. 17, 1930, in the Republic of Panama, son of James and Hellen Wright Glover. He and Dorothy F. Trebilcock were married Feb. 23, 1949, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She died Sept. 24, 2004.

Glover had been a plant manager in the explosives industry.

He served with the National Guard 1140th Battalion.

Survivors include two sons, Edwin J. Glover Jr. of Mountain Lakes, N.J., Stephen D. Glover of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Nancy Glover of Cape Girardeau, Debby and husband Jerry Kniep of Monterey, Tenn., Patty E. and husband Kenny Landau of Oak Ridge; a sister, Sylvia Mallay of Port Charlotte, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A private viewing for family and close friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
