KARNAK, Ill. -- Edwin Eastwood, 84, of Karnak died Monday, May 14, 2001, at his home.
He was the son of Hosea and Tula Ann Russell Eastwood. He married Kakky Kean.
He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Karnak. He owned Eastwood Plumbing & Heating in Karnak.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a past member of the Karnak Lions Club and the Karnak Civic Club and was a donor in the T.C.T. Ministries.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Paul Eastwood of Golconda, Ill., Brian Eastwood of Wampsville, N.Y., David Eastwood of Verona, N.Y., and Randall Eastwood of Ellis Grove, Ill.; four daughters, Sandra Glynn of Wampsville, Haddie Ashby of Karnak, Rebecca Miller of Grand Chain, Ill., and Kay Jones of Paducah, Ky.; a brother, Robert Eastwood of Karnak; a sister, Trecia Womack of Ypsilanti, Mich.; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Karnak Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Shawn Stephens officiating. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Vienna VFW Post 5222. Burial will be in Belknap Masonic Cemetery.
