Edward L. Strack, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Jackson, son of Martin and Freida Niemeier Strack. He and Pansy Barks Sebaugh were married Aug. 14, 1979, in Cape Girardeau. She died Jan. 5, 2005.
Strack was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church and its Men's Club. He worked at the sausage suppers and was an usher.
Survivors include three stepchildren, Douglas (Dianne) Sebaugh of Jackson, Judy (Glenn) Criddle of Cape Girardeau, Gail (James) Gosche of Jackson; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 16 great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Hanover Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Daniel Hackney officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
