PERRYVILLE -- Edward J. DeWilde, 81, of Perryville, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 29, 1912, at Craines Island, Ill., son of Bernard and Lanie Fuytinck DeWilde. He and Bertha Wood were married in 1937. She died Nov. 1, 1973...

PERRYVILLE -- Edward J. DeWilde, 81, of Perryville, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 29, 1912, at Craines Island, Ill., son of Bernard and Lanie Fuytinck DeWilde. He and Bertha Wood were married in 1937. She died Nov. 1, 1973.

DeWilde was a retired farmer, and member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church at Belgique.

Survivors include two sisters, Martha Lynch and Rose Krider of California.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Wilson will officiate, with burial in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel from 6-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.
