EDWARD G. LEIMBACH

JACKSON -- Edward G. Leimbach, 78, of Jackson, died Thursday, July 28, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital

He was born July 1, 1916, at Pocahontas, son of Otto and Julia Hemmann Leimbach.

He married Ester Koeberl, Oct. 26, 1947.

Leimbach was a life-long member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, where he held various offices.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry Leimbach and Rusby Leimbach, both of Jackson; a daughter, Marion Leimbach of Jackson; two brothers, Rudolf Leimbach and Eugene Leimbach, both of Jackson; and three sisters, Margaret Kieninger and Lorene Aurich, both of St. Louis, Naoma Moll of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, with the Rev. Howard Mueller officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
