JACKSON -- Edward E. Rudert, 79, Jackson Route 1, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1992, at his home.

He was born Oct. 31, 1912, at Shawneetown, son of Adolph and Pauline Ladreiter Rudert. He farmed all his life in the Shawneetown area, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church there.

Survivors include two brothers, Raymond Rudert of Perryville, J. Ben Rudert of Cape Girardeau; a foster brother, William Dost of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; two sisters, Gertrude Mirly, Jackson Route 1, and Selma Wild of Ft. Pierce.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Church. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
