JONESBORO, Ill. -- Edward D. Meisenheimer, 75, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, June 28, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Edward D. Meisenheimer, 75, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, June 28, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 10, 1919, at Reynoldsville, son of Henry and Sarah Lindsey Meisenheimer.

Meisenheimer served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna.

Survivors include his wife, Henrietta; three sisters, Blanche Mosby and Viola Reynolds of Jonesboro, Verda Dover of Scott City, and a brother, Henry Meisenheimer of Jonesboro.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Albert Moore officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3455.
