SIKESTON, Mo. -- Edna Mae Johnson, 58, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of Douglas and Minnie Reed.

She married Andy Johnson Sept. 16, 1961, in Portageville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Andy Johnson Jr. and Dennis Ray Johnson, both of the state of Oklahoma; a daughter, Carla Achter of Sikeston; three brothers, Alford Mowery of Sikeston, Carl Mowery of the state of Texas, and James Mowery of Mayer, Ariz.; two sisters, Margie Hemby of Puxico, Mo., and Dorothy Mowery of Arkansas, Mo.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
