JACKSON -- Edna Turner Clark, 84, of Jackson, died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 14, 1911, at Patton, daughter of Wiley J. and Mary M. McGraw Gallup. She first married Ersel Turner June 19, 1928, at Fredericktown. He died March 30, 1973. She then married Ross Clark in June 1986...

JACKSON -- Edna Turner Clark, 84, of Jackson, died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 14, 1911, at Patton, daughter of Wiley J. and Mary M. McGraw Gallup. She first married Ersel Turner June 19, 1928, at Fredericktown. He died March 30, 1973. She then married Ross Clark in June 1986.

Clark had been a cook at Jackson Schools, and then worked a number of years at Ralph Edwards Sportswear in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joe Turner of St. Louis, James Turner of Centralia, Ill.; two stepsons, Tom Clark of Chaffee, James Clark of Lenoir, N.C.; a stepdaughter, LaRue Long of Latham, Tenn.; a brother, William Gallup of Winfield; three sisters, Annie Masters and Ida Mantz of Jackson, Esther Doggett of Patton; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
