Edna Pollard

Edna Ruth Pollard, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Lutheran Home. She was born May 27, 1920, in Kentucky, to Arthur and Nellie Combs Case. Edna Ruth Pollard, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born May 27, 1920, in Kentucky, to Arthur and Nellie Combs Case. She and Everett Eugene Pollard were married Feb. 12, 1938, in Danville, Ky.

Edna was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Gerald Pollard (Peggy) of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Tammie Scholl (Sam) and Lisa Beckett (Jerry) of Cape Girardeau; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Bain (Justin) of Dogwood, Mo., and Eric Wilke (Teresa), Kara Hecht (David) and Beth Meza (Jairo), all of Cape Girardeau; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

The visitation and funeral will be at Stith's Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
