EDNA PETZOLDT

PERRYVILLE -- Edna C. Petzoldt, 95, of Perryville, died Monday, May 6, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born April 30, 1901, at New Wells, daughter of Julius and Elizabeth Loos Koenig. She and Anton H. Petzoldt were married June 29, 1920. He died July 11, 1969.

Petzoldt was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include six sons, Tillmon, Harlan and Pearl Petzoldt of Perryville, Harold Petzoldt of Affton, Herbert Petzoldt of Altenburg, Junior Petzoldt of Pocahontas; three daughters, Ruth Schmidt of Altenburg, Ardene Koenig of Arnold, Shirleen Mueller of Perryville; a stepdaughter, Viola Fassel of Perryville; 37 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Church, with the Revs. Craig Otto and Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
