MOUNDS, Ill. -- Edna Pauline "Polly" Wood Rogers, 72, of Mounds died Monday, Nov. 30, 1992, at her home.
She was born July 28, 1920, at Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Robert Bruce and Minnie Belle Kneal Adams.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dupree Wood, in 1976, and her second husband, Jack W. Rogers, in 1985. She also was preceded in death by a son, Robert M. Wood.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds and was a retired business owner there.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Wood of Mounds; two sons, Bill and Michael Wood, both of Mounds; two sisters, Anna Belle Oldham of Jackson and Betty Lou Sharp of Roland Heights, Calif.; a brother, Robert Adams of Kellerton, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Mounds, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. F. M. Speakman will officiate, and burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Villa Ridge.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
