DONGOLA, Ill. -- Edna McIntosh, 87, of Dongola, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 1994, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Aug. 6, 1907, in Dongola, daughter of Will and Mary Smoot Coffman. She and Curtis McIntosh were married Dec. 9, 1927. He died Sept. 30, 1978.
McIntosh was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and had been a children's Sunday School teacher. She had also been a volunteer at Share and Care in Dongola.
Survivors include two sons, Edsel and Dean McIntosh of Marion; a daughter, Rita Dale of Aurora; a brother, Roy Coffman of Cairo; a sister, Verna Medlin of Dongola; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd Stout officiating. Burial will be in Meisenheimer/Mt. Olive Cemetery.
