POCAHONTAS -- Edna "Arlene" Leimbach, 68, of Pocahontas died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at the Lutheran Home at Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 3, 1931, at Pocahontas, daughter of Arthur Gilbert and Ida Leimer Trickey. She and Norman Leimbach were married April 11, 1953.
She was baptized and confirmed at the St. John's Lutheran Church at Pocahontas. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1949 and worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill from 1949 to 1953. She transferred her church membership to the Zion Lutheran Church at Pocahontas in 1953.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dale and Steven Leimbach, both of Jackson; a daughter, Cynthia Hitchcock of Lawton, Okla.; two brothers, Nelson Trickey of Columbia and Charles Trickey of Des Moines, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson and from 9:15 a.m. until service time Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church at Pocahontas.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
