EDNA L. SCHUMER

PERRYVILLE -- Edna L. Schumer, 78, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Perry County, daughter of Frank and Theresa Huber Grass. She and Hervey A. Schumer were married Feb. 8, 1947, at Perryville.

Schumer was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Highland.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ray Schumer, two sisters, Stella Grass and Evelyn Grass, all of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church. The Rev. Lawrence Zoeller will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today. A wake service will be held at 7.
