HARVIELL -- Edna Lorene Langley, 89, of Harviell, died Monday, April 11, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 13, 1905, near Poplar Bluff, daughter of Judge I.M. and Lydia Elvira Bruce Cox. She and Elbert Sanlin "Dick" Langley were married Feb. 28, 1920. He died Nov. 15, 1985.
Langley worked many years with 4-H and extension clubs in Butler County, and helped raise funds for renovation and maintenance of Kinsey Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Hindman of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.
Friends may call at Frank-Cotrell Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carleton Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Kinsey Cemetery.
