EDNA KIMBRO

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Edna Kimbro of Anna will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home here. The Rev. Richard McFarland will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.

Kimbro, 103, died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Union County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 28, 1891, in Grand Tower, daughter of Theodore and Ida M. Doll Rowe. She married Earl Kimbro in 1914 at Grand Tower. He died in 1946.

Kimbro attended Union Academy in Anna, and Juilliard School of Music. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Tower.

She moved from Anna to Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, Mo., in 1979, and then back to Anna in April this year.

Survivors include two nephews, Orville Kimbro of Anna and Robert Kimbro of Tyler, Texas.
