EDNA HUNZE

Funeral service for Edna Hunze of Ferguson will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Hunze, 86, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at her home.

She was born June 21, 1911, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of Charles T. and Nina Mae Pope Howard. She and Charles Leo Hunze had been married 58 years.

Hunze was a graduate of Christian College in Columbia, Southeast Missouri State University, and attended the University of California-Los Angeles.

She had taught school at Sikeston and Benton. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Spirit of St. Louis Doll Club, and Clayton Club for Women.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charles Hunze Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Howard Hunze of Ferguson.
