ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Edna Hight of Anna will be held at 5 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. John Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery at Dongola.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until service time.
Hight, 88, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro.
She was born March 3, 1912, in Ullin, daughter of William and Matilda Poole Staudacher. She and Harley Hight were married Sept. 24, 1928. He died Oct. 17, 1961.
Hight was a former dietary worker at Anna State Hospital. She was a member of Anna Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Miller of Wetaug, Connie Young of Florida, Joyce Fuiten of Sherman; two sons, Larry Hight of Anna, Dwight Hight of Millstadt; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, six sisters and a great-granddaughter.
