Edna Inez Givens, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 17, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Grover and Eula Baugher Curry.
On Dec. 13, 1930, she married Cletus Louis Givens at Jackson. He died on Nov. 25, 1965.
She retired from International Shoe Factory in 1980 and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Jack Givens of Jackson and Ted Givens of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Vickie Lane Watling of Nuevo, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons' Mount Auburn Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. S.S. Borum and Kendal Hicks officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
