JONESBORO, Ill. -- Edna Mae Doughty, 81, of Jonesboro, formerly of Alto Pass, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born April 7, 1919, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Charles Bert and Mollie Davidson Morgan. She and Jerry Doughty were married Dec. 21, 1939, in Jackson, Mo. He died July 31, 1971...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Edna Mae Doughty, 81, of Jonesboro, formerly of Alto Pass, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born April 7, 1919, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Charles Bert and Mollie Davidson Morgan. She and Jerry Doughty were married Dec. 21, 1939, in Jackson, Mo. He died July 31, 1971.

She was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of the former Grace Memorial Church in Alto Pass.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Audrey Doughty of Jonesboro, Ill.; two granddaughters, Helen Lindsey and Nobelee Robinson; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., after 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
