THEBES, Ill. -- Funeral for Edna Crisp of St. Louis, formerly of Thebes, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill. The Rev. Jimmie Monahan will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Crisp, 62, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at her home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Gale, Ill., daughter of John and Lela Worthington White. She married George Crisp.
Crisp owned and operated Edna's Discount Quick Shop in Fayetteville, Ill., for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Carol Marchlewski of St. Louis; a son, Thurman Allen of Fayetteville; a brother, Jimmie White of Thebes; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
