EDNA C. HOYER

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Edna C. Hoyer of Enid, Okla., was held Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church there. Rev. Kenneth Wade officiated, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home of Enid was in charge of arrangements.

Hoyer, 90, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital.

She was born Jan. 10, 1903, in New Orleans, La., daughter of August and Caroline Vix Niemeyer. She and the Rev. Hugo H. Hoyer were married July 9, 1924.

The Hoyers moved to Enid in 1965 from Argonia, Kan. They had also lived in Wyoming and Missouri.

Survivors include three daughters, Elfrieda Strickert of Jackson, Gloria Schueler of Wichita, Kan., Marian Kremeier of Enid; two sons, Robert and Elmer Hoyer of Wichita; 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
