EDMUND LOHMANN

PERRYVILLE -- Edmund J.C. Lohmann, 94, of Perryville died Sunday, May 3, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 12, 1903, at Farrar, son of Henry E. and Lina Detjen Lohmann. He and Olivia E. Weinrich were married Oct. 25, 1931. She died Oct. 3, 1972.

Lohmann was a farmer, and the oldest living member of Zion Lutheran Church at Longtown.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Etzold of Perryville, Doris Bingenheimer of Cassville; two sons, Roy Lohmann of Longtown, Curtis Lohmann of Perryville; a brother, Rudolph Lohmann of Perryville; a sister, Emma Oswald of Perryville; a half sister, Wilma Mueller; a stepsister, Alida Villhardt of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother, a sister, and two infant great-grandsons.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
