BLOOMFIELD -- Edith Mayberry, 70, of Bloomfield, died Monday, May 8, 1995, at her home.
She was born June 8, 1924, in Arkansas, daughter of William and Nellie Seawright Martin. She married Fred Cook, who died in 1960. She later married Lee Mayberry Jan. 6, 1978. He died Oct. 8, 1991.
Mayberry attended the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Cook and Jim Adams of Bloomfield, Edward Adams of Malden; a daughter, Betty Welch of Bloomfield; her mother of Bloomfield; three brothers, Louis Martin of Dallas, Texas, Galen Martin of Puxico, W.C. Martin of Advance; four sisters, Arlue Cantrell, Fay Johnson and Vivian Stroup of Bloomfield, Norma Walker of Advance; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dallas Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
