BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Edith Massey, 93, of Bloomfield died Thursday, June 21, 2001, at Beverly Health Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1908, in Nogallus, N.M., daughter of James A. and Lillie Mathis Henley. She and William C. Massey were married Sept. 13, 1927, in Alamogordo, N.M. He died Jan. 9, 1992.
Massey had lived in Bloomfield since 1952, and was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include three sons, William Massey Jr. and Larry Massey of Bloomfield, John Massey of Spring City, Tenn.; two daughters, Phyllis King of Bellflower, Mo., Vickie Moore of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, Ruben Henley of Baton Rouge, La.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Susan Marner-Sides will officiate. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
