BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Edith M. Merrick of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Bryan Davis will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Merick, 75, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1993, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
She was born June 19, 1918, at Randles, daughter of Harry and Ethel Maude Tyson Bond. She and Harold M. Merick were married June 15, 1936, at Bloomfield.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harold Merick of Bloomfield, Charles Merick of Rockford, Ill.; four daughters, Jeannie White of Union, Linda Ott of Eureka Springs, Ark., Karen Lancaster of Sullivan, Barbara Robinson of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Leslie Bond of Denair, Calif., Glen Bond of Essex; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and granddaughter.
