Edith M. Haney, 77, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dupo, Ill, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992. She was born Oct. 31, 1915, the daughter of Ernest Duty and Hattie Simmons Duty. She was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Cahokia, Ill. She first married John Luttrell, who preceded her in death. She then married Fred Fisher, who preceded her in death also. Edith M. Haney, 77, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Dupo, Ill, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992.

She was born Oct. 31, 1915, the daughter of Ernest Duty and Hattie Simmons Duty.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Cahokia, Ill.

She first married John Luttrell, who preceded her in death. She then married Fred Fisher, who preceded her in death also. She is survived by her third husband, Richard C. Haney, Caseyville, Ill.

She is also survived by three sons, Bob Luttrell, Cape Girardeau, Bill Luttrell, Millersville, Jim Luttrell, Dupo, Ill; four daughters, Vickie Holstron, Marble Hill, Georgia Polack, Dongola, Ill., Barbara Harris, Puxico, Shirley Phillips, Dupo, Ill.; two brothers, Ernest Duty, Fenton, Charles Duty, Cahokia, Ill; six sisters, Mildred Adams, Washington Park, Ill., Audry Rhodes, Jonesboro, Ark., Opal Topper, Kennett, Ann Taticek, Mt. Vernon, Ill., Fay Anglie, Gary, Ind. Helen Summers, of California; 31 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

One granddaughter, one grandson, and one brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call today from 3-9 p.m. at the John Barnes Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Cahokia, Ill. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Belleville.
