COBDEN, Ill. -- Funeral service for Edith M. Garner of Cahokia will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate, with burial in Casper Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Garner, 60, died Wednesday, June 1, 1994, at Centerville Hospital in Centerville.

She was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Cobden, daughter of Earl and Ethel Shingleton Furlow. She and Milo L. Garner were married July 11, 1949, in Osceola, Ark.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diana Buehler of Cahokia; two sons, Larry and Paul Garner of Swansea; a brother, Robert Furlow of Cobden; two sisters, Helen Beck of Cahokia, Dorothy Holder of Phoenix, Ariz., and two grandchildren.
