CROSSTOWN -- Edith L. McIntire, 87, formerly of Crosstown, died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Green Meadows Health Center in Linn. She was born Oct. 5, 1906, at Crosstown, daughter of James Elta and Mary June Ellis Roberts. She and Oscar M. Weibrecht were married Sept. 26, 1938. He died March 15, 1991...

CROSSTOWN -- Edith L. McIntire, 87, formerly of Crosstown, died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Green Meadows Health Center in Linn.

She was born Oct. 5, 1906, at Crosstown, daughter of James Elta and Mary June Ellis Roberts. She and Oscar M. Weibrecht were married Sept. 26, 1938. He died March 15, 1991.

McIntire was retired from International Shoe Co.

Survivors include a son, Marchial McIntire of Leslie; a sister, Daisey Garris of Perryville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and after 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alvin Mathes officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at Crosstown.
