JACKSON -- Edith G. Hobeck, 91, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 17, 1905, at Steele, daughter of Elgin and Gertrude Freeman Boswell. She and Roy James Hobeck were married March 9, 1924, in Venice, Ill. He died May 16, 1990...

JACKSON -- Edith G. Hobeck, 91, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 17, 1905, at Steele, daughter of Elgin and Gertrude Freeman Boswell. She and Roy James Hobeck were married March 9, 1924, in Venice, Ill. He died May 16, 1990.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Reisenbichler of Jackson; a brother, Cecil Boswell of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
