Edith Friedrich

Edith Geraldine "Gerry" Friedrich, 66, of Jackson died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at her home.

She was born July 22, 1939, daughter of Jasper McKinley and Maude Pearl Conrad Myers. She first married Shelby E. Mayfield Dec. 31, 1966. He died July 6, 1977. She and Roy Friedrich were married Dec. 31, 1985.

Friedrich was employed 29 years at Lee-Rowan, now Rubbermaid, retiring in 2003. She also worked at Senior Day Care and Country Mart. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Oak Ridge.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lisa Kennedy of Jackson, Theresa Fuller of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Benny Myers of Jackson, Bob Myers of Marble Hill, Mo., Wayne Myers of O'Fallon, Mo.; and a sister, Janet Humes of Dalton City, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jon Sedgwick officiating. Burial will be in Lessley Ridge Cemetery.
