CAIRO, Ill. -- Edith M. Fair, 78, of Cairo died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Cairo, daughter of Lloyd and Minnie Fair Hafford.
She was married to Floyd E. Fair.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Fair of Kansas City, Mo., and Ron Fair of Mounds, Ill.; a daughter, Barbara Brown of Cairo; a brother, Robert Hafford of Cairo; four sisters, Eunice Calvin and Patsy Stiff, both of Cairo, Dorothy Cruse of Pocahontas, Ill., and Elyvon Harper of Lansing, Mich.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Pigg officiating.
Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
