ANNA, Ill. -- Edith Edna Dillon, 82, of Anna died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Sept. 7, 1915, in Etherton, daughter of William and Rose Belle Younkins Lacy. She and Paul Dillon were married Sept. 19, 1931, in Jonesboro...

ANNA, Ill. -- Edith Edna Dillon, 82, of Anna died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Sept. 7, 1915, in Etherton, daughter of William and Rose Belle Younkins Lacy. She and Paul Dillon were married Sept. 19, 1931, in Jonesboro.

Dillon was a lifetime member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jack Dillon of Arlington, Texas, Robin Dillon of Anna; a daughter, Dorothy Dillon of Anna; two sisters, Ruby Duskey and Abby Snyder of Anna; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and three brothers.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
